Optimization of Production Flows at an Automotive Equipment Manufacturer

Author: Alexandre Mercier March 15, 2025

As part of an audit and consulting mission, ATP Graywerks supported an automotive equipment manufacturer in the Lyon region in redesigning its manufacturing processes. The main objective was to reduce unplanned downtime and improve the traceability of operations.

After an in-depth analysis phase of the flows and workstations, our team proposed a structured action plan around three axes: standardization of procedures, introduction of real-time performance indicators, and implementation of targeted training for operators.

The results were significant: a 22% reduction in cycle times, a 15% decrease in scrap, and a notable improvement in team satisfaction thanks to better visibility of daily objectives. This project illustrates our ability to combine technical expertise and human support for sustainable transformations.
