Optimization of Production Processes: A Case Study
As part of our mission to support industrial companies, we recently collaborated with a mechanical components manufacturer based in the Lyon region. The objective was to analyze and improve their production line to reduce downtime and optimize workflows.
Our team conducted a thorough audit of the workshops, identifying several bottlenecks related to task scheduling and preventive maintenance. By applying a Lean Six Sigma methodology, we proposed adjustments in the organization of workstations and the implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs).
The results were significant: an 18% reduction in unplanned downtime, a 12% increase in overall productivity, and a notable improvement in compliance with safety standards. This project illustrates our ability to transform operational challenges into opportunities for sustainable efficiency.
We also trained local teams on the new procedures, ensuring a lasting adoption of the changes. This collaborative and pragmatic approach is at the heart of our philosophy at ATP Graywerks.
